Paul Blart: Mall Cop
Kevin James plays the experienced, determined, and dedicated mall cop. Kevin James does a great job as Paul Blart, and thought knew he was perfect for that role. Probably some of the funniest parts of the movie were just James and his hilarious body comedy. He excels in physical comedy, and James admitted on the Tonight show that he did all of his own stunts. But unfortunately, the film wasn't as funny as it could have been.
Paul Blart has worked at his job for many years, and is under appreciated, and constantly bullied. He has failed several times to become a state trooper because of his low blood sugar, and because of that he falls asleep if he doesn't have sugar in his system. He basically goes through the day without any problem accept for a couple angry costumers, at stores such as Victoria's secret. But when a group of surprisingly good acrobats take over the mall, it's all up to Paul Blart to rescue the people of the mall.
A few things I didn't like in the film was the fact that all of the bad guys were amazing acrobats and could jump three stories above without even flinching. I also didn't like the main villain. I didn't like his character and the way that he acted. But I did like the little twists that were thrown in the film. I thought that many parts of the film were funny, but it could have been so funnier. I Give Paul Blart: Mall Cop an 8.1 out of 10.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Critics roared that the Curious Case of Benjamin Button is the best film of the year. Personally, I didn't think it was that great. Don't get me wrong, I liked it and thought it was one of the years better movies, just not the best. As many critics will tell you, the film was too long. And I agree. Three hours is stretching it. But it would have been better if there was more excitement in the film, but it had no major climax, and was just one fairly boring story.
Brad Pitt did a great job as Benjamin Button and thought that his acting was the best part of the movie. Another part I liked was the computer generation that made him not only look older, but also younger. Twenty years ago we might have been able to make a person look older with some make up, but thanks to today's CGI (computer generated images) technology, we have mastered the ability to age and un-age a person in the blink of an eye.
Although it was not the best, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was a great film, and worthy of the Best picture nomination. But i personally think that it just earns the nomination, not the win. I give The Curious Case of Benjamin Button a 9.4.
