Get smart or Love Guru?

in this corner we have the coedic super spy Maxwell Smart played by the comic mastermind Steve Carell. And in the other corner we have the clever relationship repair Guru playe by the always funny Mike Myers. Bellow are a list of my opinion of which one will be better, please leave your comments of which will be better.

  • The first point will go to Get smart. i give it this because it is based on a fairly funny TV show from the 60s.
  • The second point goes to Get Smart again. This one is because the trailer for this movie actually made me laugh.
  • This point goes to Love Guru, because it has a stronger plot.
  • This point goes to Love Guru again because this movie has Mike Myers.
  • The next point goes to Get smart because it has one of my favorite actors of all time Steve Carell.
  • I'll give another point to get smart because Love Guru has Justin Timberlake, and he's not a very funny actor.
  • The next point goes to Get Smart because it has a pretty good theme song.
  • The last point goes to love Guru because Get Smart has Dwayne Johnson as a character not from the original show.

OK the score so far is five to four, get Smart's lead. Leave your comments and we'll add up the score.

indiana Jones and the crystal skull Trivia

  • The film was delivered to theaters with a combination lock and the combination wasn't provided until the day of the first showing.
  • Harrison Ford wore the exact same wardrobe as he did 19 years ago.
  • During the scene at the school, rocks from the Temple of Doom can be seen on the black board.
  • To keep the look like the first films, Spielberg used stunts instead of computer generated images.
  • To prepare for his role, Shia LaBeouf watched the first three films seven times each.
  • Spielberg finally signed on for the movie when his son asked when the remaining two movies would be released.
  • Other possible titles were 'The city of Gods', 'The destroyer of worlds', 'the lost city of gold', and 'the fourth corner of earth'.

The world's greatest adventure hero is back!!

Harrison Ford is back as the famous Indiana Jones. After 19 years he's back on the silver screen. Harrison Ford seems as if he hasn't aged at all. The movie not only brings back Harrison Ford, but also Karen Allen who played Marion Ravenwood in the first film. This film also brings new actors, such as Shia LaBeouf, who plays Mutt Williams. The action of this film was just as good as the original. The film starts out as Indy and his partner Mac are captured and brought to a military base. They are forced by Soviet soldiers to help them find the crystal Skulls. He soon teams up with Mutt Williams who is a motorcycling greaser. The best part of the film was the first 2o minuets, because it brought us back to the original films, and reminded us why we loved this character. The film kept the action going and almost never got boring. This film goes down as one of the great Indiana Jones films. i give this film a 9.1 out of 10.

GO SPEED RACER GO!

The second big summer blockbuster is out. But it was unfortunately not as good as the first big movie this year. But still, Speed Racer delivers. In case you didn't already know this movie is based on the 1960's Japanese cartoon show Speed Racer. This film stars Emile Hersch as the speed demon himself, Speed Racer. This film also stars one of my favorite actors Mathew Fox as one of my favorite TV characters Racer X. Speed Racer has to team up with Racer X to stop Mr. Musha and reveal him for the fraud he is. The obviously best part of this film was the racing scenes. The special effects were "on the edge of your seat" amazing. During the last race your mouth will hit the ground. The acting was...all right, but I don't think people go to a speed racer film for the acting. The plot was actually pretty good, but not great. The Mach 5 is almost identical to the old cartoon version. All of the old characters make an appearance in this film, and they look identical to the cartoon characters. I give this film a 8 out of 10.

I AM IRON MAN!!!

WOW!! If you haven't seen this incredible movie yet, then finish reading this and go to the movies. This was the best film I've seen this year. And I even have to say it beats last year's Transformers. This film is based off the old comic book series Iron Man. The main character Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) is captured while in Iraq. After being severely injured, a metallic "heart" is placed in his chest to keep him alive. He is soon forced into building a missile for terrorists but makes a metallic suit instead. He uses it to escape and eventually returns to America. He builds another suit and protects the people he put in harms way. Soon a partner of Starks(The Iron Monger played by Jeff Bridges) finds his suit plans and builds a bigger and better suit. The cast was a great ensemble of talented actors. The plot was strong and there really wasn't any part that I didn't like. I recommend this film to kids and adults of all ages. It was almost spectacular. I give this film a 9.5 out of 10.
