IRON MAN: The next film I'm gonna talk about is Iron Man. It's based on the comic book series "The invincible Iron Man". This movie starts out when millionaire Tony Stark (Played by Robert Downey Jr.) is forced to create a life support suit to keep him alive after an accident. The he uses his suit and his new Technology to fight crime, and he becomes Iron Man. The main villain of the movie is going to be the Iron Monger. A person who creates a suit similar to Iron Man's, only larger. It is rumored that Iron Man's main villain The Mandarin, might star in the movie. I said might! So it's not for sure. This movie will be released May 2.

Comming soon...

There are a lot of good movies coming out later this year. Here is a list of my top 5 anticipated films, and all of the info I know about them.

INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL: After 19 years Steven Spielberg and George Lucas are making another Indiana Jones adventure. Not much is known about the film because Spielberg isn't letting any spoilers out. We know Harrison Ford will reprise his role as Indiana Jones as always. The question is if he will be able to do all of the stuff he could twenty years ago. This movie also stars the always great Shia LaBeouf as Mutt, a motorcycle-riding greaser. It has been rumored that Mutt will be Indiana's son. This movie also brings back Karen Allen. She reprises her role as Marion Ravenwood. But that's all I know about this so far. I guess we'll have to wait until May 22.

Movie Trivia...Spider-man

SPIDER-MAN 1:

1. James Franco who played Harry Osborn, originally auditioned for Peter Parker.

2. In the movie, the Green Goblin throws Mary Jane off the George Washington bridge instead of Gwen Stacy like in the Comics.

3. Eddie Brock (Venom) was mentioned briefly during a scene in the Daily Bugle.

4. The way the Goblin was killed in the movie (stabbed by his own glider) was the same way he was killed in the comics.

5. The hand grenades that the goblin uses in the movie where originally called "Pumpkin Bombs" in the comics.

6. Was the first Marvel movie to show the flipping pages as the Marvel logo.

7. The actor who played the announcer for the wrestling match can also be seen as the doorman in Spider-man 2 and the waiter in Spider-man 3.

8. Leonardo DiCaprio was considered for the role of Peter Parker before Toby McGuire.

9. Nicolas Cage was offered the role of the Green Goblin.

10. Spider-man originally has web shooters in the comics, but doesn't in the movie.

Top 5 movies of all time

#5 PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL: The first pirates of the Caribbean, and in my opinion, the best. Based on the Disney world theme park ride Pirates of the Caribbean. The film's main character is a blacksmith who has to team up with the pirate Captain Jack Sparrow in order to save the woman he loves, Elizabeth Swan, who has been captured by the current captain of the Black pearl, Captain Barbossa. But in order to save her they have to get past an army of undead pirates. This movie was great and raised the bar for special effects in the movie world.

#4 BATMAN BEGINS: Next to Spider-man 2, this is may favorite Super hero movie. I think we've all seen the original Batman movies, but this tops them all. We find out the origins of Batman. How his parents died, how he learned his ninja moves, how he became the multimillion air Bruce Wayne, How the bat signal was made, and so much more. This movie also introduced a Batman villain we haven't seen on the big screen, Scarecrow. The plot to this movie was incredible, not to mention the special effects were amazing as well.
#3 TOMMY BOY: Holy Shinkeys!! One of the funniest movies of all time. Staring the hilarious Chris Farley, and David Spade. This movie starts with Tommy Callahan the third graduating collage, and moving back home. He takes his dad's place at Callahan auto after he dies. But he has no experience at selling auto parts. So Richard joins him on his journey so they can save Callahan auto. The thing that made me love this movie was the amazing one liners.
#2 STAR WARS EPISODE 5- THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK: The second (Technically the fifth) Star wars episode. The sequel to one of the biggest box office openers of all time! We find are heroes Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewbacca hiding from the empire on the ice planet Hoth. But the empire soon finds them forcing the group to separate. But while the others travel with the rebels, Luke travels to Dagabah to train with the ancient Jedi master Yoda. Elsewhere the evil Darth Vader tries to follow Han Solo and the millennium falcon, but when he is unsuccessful he hires a group of bounty hunters (including Boba Fett) to hunt down the falcon. Eventually the group meets at Cloud city in Bespin but it ends up being a trap by Darth Vader. The reason I liked this movie was because of the incredibly famous line said by Darth Vader "Luke, I am your Father".
#1 SPIDER-MAN 2 Spidey is back and better than ever. This is the second (and best) installment of the spider-man trilogy. We find our hero Peter Parker AKA Spiderman struggling to make money, not to mention stay in college. He is still being accused of being a villain by J. Jonah Jamison and the Daily Bugle. This film also introduced a famous Spiderman villain Doc Oc. Peter is slowly loosing his best friend Harry and the love of his life Marry Jane. Harry is still obsessed about getting revenge on Spider-man for the murder of his father. But to make things worse Spidey is slowly loosing his powers, and decided not to be Spider-man anymore. But when Doc Oc kidnaps Mary Jane, Peter is forced to become Spidey once again. The main reason why this was my favorite movie of all time is because it was so true to the comics. Several scenes come almost directly from the comics, like the scene where he throws the Spider-man costume away. Another reason this movie was my #1 of all time was because of the award winning special effects.

Transformers 2?

As you know, Transformers was my favorite movie of the year and a sequel could only get better. Micheal Bay (Director of Transformers) has announced that the Dinobots will be part of the sequel. In case you don't know what those are I'll tell you. The dinobots are a group of autbots the transform into dinosaurs. They were created by Ratchet on earth, and are bigger than the average autobot. The second transformer that Bay announced was Soundwave. Soundwave is a classic Transformer, and an original Decepticon, he generally transformers into a boom box, and can release smaller decepticons from his chest. All we know about the plot is that Starsceam returned to Cyberton and is creating a new group of Decepticons with him as the leader. And somehow Megatron comes back to life. I have two theories about this. The first is one similar to the classic transformers and that is that the giant planet eating transformers Unicron brings him back to life, just like in the 1980's animated movie. The second is a cheaper way to bring megatron back to life. In this theory one of the surviving decepticons on earth (Barricade or squorpinok) sacrifice their spark to megatron and bring him back to life.
#1 TRANSFORMERS If I could describe this movie in two words it would be eye candy. This movie was based on the 1980's toy line the Transformers. The Transformers consist of two groups, the heroic Autobots and the fiendish Decepticons. The Autobots in this movie are Optimus Prime (Leader), bumblebee, Jazz, Iron hide, and Ratchet, and the Decepticons in this movie are Megatron (Leader), Starscream, Blackout, Barricade, Bonecrusher, and Frenzy. Each transformer has the ability to transform from vehicle to robot, or robot to vehicle. The thing that really made this movie great was the incredible, and realistic special effects, definitely Oscar worthy! My fav part was without a doubt the final fight between Optimus and Megatron, where Optimus said his famous line "One shall stand, one shall fall". And that's why this was my favorite movie of the year.
#2 The BOURNE ULTIMATUM Wow, another threequel. But this one was, without a doubt the best threequel of the year. This movie starts out about five minuets before the second film ended. Jason Bourne is still on the run from the government, and is still having some memory issues. I think the thing that made this movie great was the wonderful plot. Every second it had new twists and turns, keeping you on the edge of your seat. This movie was wonderful and i hope they make another one!

#3 The Simpsons movie: Finally after 18 years the famous yellow family makes it to the big screen. The move starts when Homer adopts a pig, and at the same time Lisa makes dumping in the lake illegal. Homer obsesses of his pig, and Bart starts to think that Ned Flanders would make a better dad than Homer. Eventually because that Lard Lad donut store is closing, Homer dumps a silo of his pig's poo into Lake Springfield. And because of that the government covers Springfield with a large dome. I thought this movie was hilarious and had some great one liners. The one part I did not like about this movie was that we barley got to see many show regulars such as Moe, Lenny, Carl, Mr. Burns, Smithers, Krusty, Sideshow Mel, Mr, Tinny, Comic book guy, the sea captain, bumblebee man, Sideshow bob, Snake, chief Wiggum, Ralph, Martin, Milhouse, Mrs, Krabapple, Principal Skinner, Reverand Lovejoy, Rodd, Todd, Prof. Fink, Grandpa, Patty, Selma, Gil, Troy, Lionel, Fat Tony, background character #768, Nelson, Jimbo, Kerney, Dolph, Willie, Otto, Itchy, Scratchy, Apu, Santa's little helper, Hans Moleman, Mona, Dr. Hibbert, and more.
#4 PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 3: The final edition to a great trilogy. We previously left our pirate friends after the death of Jack Sparrow. Norrington has found the heart of Davy Jones and has enslaved the legendary captain. Captain Barbosa came back from the dead and is now commanded the crew to save Jack, who is now trapped in the famous Davy Jones Locker. Eventually Barbosa and the crew made it to world's end and found Jack. There were two flaws I found in this movie. The first is that it was long, really, really long. And the second flaw was that it was hard to follow. The plot was jumping all over the place, one minute you think Jack is bad and then next he's good, then you think Will is good when he's really bad, then he is good again? But besides that I thought this movie was good. My favorite part was the final fight inside a giant whirlpool.

Best movies of 2007

The following is a list of my favorite movies of 2007, starting at number five and ending at my favorite movie of the year.

#5 SPIDER-MAN 3: This was probably the number 1 anticipated film of the year. The story starts right after Spider-man two. Peter and MJ are a couple and Harry knows peter is Spider-man. Harry has used his fathers inventions and became the New goblin. The second villain introduced is the might Sandman, AKA Flint Marco, who is on the run from the cops and lands in a government nuclear testing area, where he turns into the Sandman. Later Spider-man finds the Symbiote, an alien goo that fall from space. The symbiote finds Peter and turns into the famous black suit. The symbiote later finds Eddie Brock and they become Venom. One of the parts I didn't like about this movie was that the history of the Symbiote was never talked about, plus we never heard the name Venom. But I did love the great special effects, and the amazing fight scenes. And I did love the New Goblin's glider the "Sky stick" which was the original green goblin's glider in the comics.
